【Important】Notice of Revision to Kyoto City Accommodation Tax Rates
Based on the Kyoto City Accommodation Tax Ordinance, an accommodation tax has been in effect since October 1, 2018. Due to a revision of this ordinance, the accommodation tax rates will be revised for stays from March 1, 2026 onward.
■Previous rates (for stays until February 28, 2026)
Less than JPY 20,000: JPY 200
JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 500
JPY 50,000 or more: JPY 1,000
■Revised rates (for stays from March 1, 2026)
Less than JPY 6,000: JPY 200
JPY 6,000 to less than JPY 20,000: JPY 400
JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 1,000
JPY 50,000 to less than JPY 100,000: JPY 4,000
JPY 100,000 or more: JPY 10,000
*The revised tax rates apply to all stays with check-in on or after March 1, 2026, regardless of the reservation date or payment timing.
*For stays spanning the revision date, the applicable tax rate will be applied to each night accordingly.
*The accommodation tax is calculated based on the room rate per person per night, excluding consumption tax and meal charges.
The accommodation tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid separately at the property upon check-in.

【重要】京都市宿泊税 税率改定のお知らせ
京都市では、「京都市宿泊税条例」に基づき、2018年10月1日より宿泊税が導入されております。このたび同条例の改定に伴い、2026年3月1日（日）ご宿泊分より宿泊税の税率が変更となりますので下記の通りご案内申し上げます。
■ 改定前（2026年2月28日までのご宿泊）
20,000円未満：200円
20,000円以上50,000円未満：500円
50,000円以上：1,000円
■ 改定後（2026年3月1日以降のご宿泊）
6,000円未満：200円
6,000円以上20,000円未満：400円
20,000円以上50,000円未満：1,000円
50,000円以上100,000円未満：4,000円
100,000円以上：10,000円
※本改定は、ご予約日やご宿泊料金のお支払い時期にかかわらず、2026年3月1日以降にチェックインされるすべてのご宿泊が対象となります。
※改定日をまたいで連泊される場合は、改定日前後それぞれの日程に応じた税率が適用されます。
※宿泊料金（1名様1泊あたり）に応じ、税区分は現行の3区分から5区分へ変更されます。
※宿泊税は、消費税や食事代等を除いた素泊まり料金に対して課税されます。
なお、ご宿泊料金には宿泊税は含まれておりません。
チェックイン時に、現地にて別途お支払いをお願いしております。

Concept:
An art room by Asako Fujikura, an exhibiting artist at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia.
Green terraces become a bed, a tile-adorned bench sits casually. Red pipes rise as furniture, and streetlights illuminate the night.
Beyond the window, vegetation from an unfamiliar elsewhere comes into view.
Within softened light, one sits and receives a sun felt at a distance.
Moving and stillness, inside and outside, day and night - the space moves back and forth between these states.
第19回ヴェネチア・ビエンナーレ国際建築展出品作家・藤倉麻子によるアートルーム。 緑色の段差がベッドとなり、タイルで装飾されたベンチが無造作に置かれている。赤いパイプが家具として立ち上がり、街灯が夜を照らす。 窓の向こうには見慣れないどこかの植生が見える。やわらかい採光の中で、遠くに感じる太陽を座って受け取る。 移動と静止、内と外、昼と夜の間を往復する。

Born in 1992. Fujikura focuses on infrastructure that crosscuts urban and suburban areas, as well as the depth of the landscapes that accompany them. She primarily creates works using 3DCG animation techniques. In recent years, she has developed spatial expressions that explore the dynamism of logistics unfolding daily on reclaimed land and the emergence of gardens within the city.
Recent exhibitions include Machine Love: Video Game, AI and Contemporary Art (Mori Art Museum, 2025), Layered Time: Depicting This World (21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, 2025), and the Japan Pavilion presentation IN-BETWEEN — Generated AI and the Future at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia (2025).
1992年生まれ。都市・郊外を横断的に整備するインフラストラクチャーやそれらに付属する風景の奥行きに注目し、主に3DCGアニメーションの手法を用いた作品を制作。近年では、埋立地で日々繰り広げられている物流のダイナミズムと都市における庭の出現に注目した空間表現を展開している。近年の展覧会に「マシン・ラブ：ビデオゲーム、AIと現代アート」（森美術館、2025）、「積層する時間：この世界を描くこと」(金沢21世紀美術館、2025）、第19回ヴェネチア・ビエンナーレ国際建築展日本館展示「IN-BETWEEN（中立点）―生成AIと未来」（2025）などがある。
