【Important】Notice of Revision to Kyoto City Accommodation Tax Rates
Based on the Kyoto City Accommodation Tax Ordinance, an accommodation tax has been in effect since October 1, 2018. Due to a revision of this ordinance, the accommodation tax rates will be revised for stays from March 1, 2026 onward.
■Previous rates (for stays until February 28, 2026)
Less than JPY 20,000: JPY 200
JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 500
JPY 50,000 or more: JPY 1,000
■Revised rates (for stays from March 1, 2026)
Less than JPY 6,000: JPY 200
JPY 6,000 to less than JPY 20,000: JPY 400
JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 1,000
JPY 50,000 to less than JPY 100,000: JPY 4,000
JPY 100,000 or more: JPY 10,000
*The revised tax rates apply to all stays with check-in on or after March 1, 2026, regardless of the reservation date or payment timing.
*For stays spanning the revision date, the applicable tax rate will be applied to each night accordingly.
*The accommodation tax is calculated based on the room rate per person per night, excluding consumption tax and meal charges.
The accommodation tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid separately at the property upon check-in.

【重要】京都市宿泊税 税率改定のお知らせ
京都市では、「京都市宿泊税条例」に基づき、2018年10月1日より宿泊税が導入されております。このたび同条例の改定に伴い、2026年3月1日（日）ご宿泊分より宿泊税の税率が変更となりますので下記の通りご案内申し上げます。
■ 改定前（2026年2月28日までのご宿泊）
20,000円未満：200円
20,000円以上50,000円未満：500円
50,000円以上：1,000円
■ 改定後（2026年3月1日以降のご宿泊）
6,000円未満：200円
6,000円以上20,000円未満：400円
20,000円以上50,000円未満：1,000円
50,000円以上100,000円未満：4,000円
100,000円以上：10,000円
※本改定は、ご予約日やご宿泊料金のお支払い時期にかかわらず、2026年3月1日以降にチェックインされるすべてのご宿泊が対象となります。
※改定日をまたいで連泊される場合は、改定日前後それぞれの日程に応じた税率が適用されます。
※宿泊料金（1名様1泊あたり）に応じ、税区分は現行の3区分から5区分へ変更されます。
※宿泊税は、消費税や食事代等を除いた素泊まり料金に対して課税されます。
なお、ご宿泊料金には宿泊税は含まれておりません。
チェックイン時に、現地にて別途お支払いをお願いしております。

Concept:
A beloved book of mine, Love Hotel Collection, showcasing bizarre love hotels across Japan, served as a huge influence in creating "1993". These love hotels are not just for sex, but a paradise for people who live a restricted life to visit and enjoy their own fantasies. These passionate and wild places that allow "play" through trial and error are gradually vanishing. I dream of a multi-purpose place reminiscent of, yet beyond, a hotel. A place for meditation and self-love.
この部屋を考えるにあたって、私の大好きな「ラブホコレクション」という日本全国の奇想天外なラブホテルを紹介/解説してくれる本から少なからず影響を受けている。
そこはただの性交の場ではなく、秩序を持った人たちが訪れ、独自のシナリオを細胞レベルで奏でることが許された束の間の楽園であった。「あそび」のために試行錯誤されたその情熱的でカオスな場所は近年減少しつつあるようだ。私はこの部屋を通じてホテルという多目的な場でその再解釈と、さらなる自己陶酔とも瞑想ともいえる不思議な夢をみている。

Yuno's work explores the theme of "Happiness”, expressing the transience of things and the rhythm between them.
Recipient of the ULTRA AWARD “NEW ORGANICS” 2016, CAF Award 2017, and exhibited at ARTISTS’ FAIR KYOTO 2019.
2017年 京都造形芸術大学大学院 美術専攻総合造形領域卒業。2016年 ULTRA AWARD 「NEW ORGANICS」、2017年「CAF賞」入選、「ARTISTS’ FAR KYOTO 2019」等多数。「Happiness 」をテーマとして、物事の儚さやその間のリズムを表現する。
